A new National Curriculum for England is set to include lessons about personal finance, including identity theft protection. The curriculum changes, which have been added in response to an e-petition signed by over 118,000 people and lobbying by the Personal Finance Education Group, include teaching secondary school pupils how to budget, compare prices, and borrow responsibly. They will also include education on how to steer clear of scams, including identity theft.
