A report issued by the Welsh Government has shown the country’s rate of recycling, as well as where the recycling goes. It also showed that 800,000 tonnes of waste was recycled, compared to 700,000 tonnes sent to landfill. The End Destination Report is the first of its kind for Wales, and aimed to make full details available about the recycling process after collection.
